Have a really wierd throat, help please!?

Yesterday I had to stay at home because the INSIDE of my throat felt like a chisel had been scraped down it. Today it felt like someone had punched my throat on the OUTSIDE, (which no one has!). Im flemmed up aswell. I dont think its a cold, I had something wrong with my tonsils last winter, not tonsilitus, but it REALLY HURT. Please tell me what I have if you know, and people that have had similar problems, what helped you feel better. Thankyou! xx

i dont know what u have, maybe u should see a doc cos u mite need antibiotics.
Whenever i have a sore throat i always drink warm drinks like tea, cos it makes it feel better, and the heat of the drink helps kill the bacteria/virus thats causing it.
Also try making a drink with honey and lemon, as honey soothes the throat and lemon has vit c which is good to fight infection..try neo citran is u dont feel like making it urself.
Also gargling with warm water and salt several times a day helps clear the mucus and kill bacteria.
Take some painkillers like aspirin or tylenol to help take the edge of the pain.
And humidify your room by leaving a bowl of hot water in there, if your room is too dry it will irritate your throat
and if u smoke, then dont until your'e better
