Drywall Mud,Tape. Tricks for finding imperfections before priming?
In the autobody business we use what is called a "guide coat"
You spray/dust a black or dark colored spatter of spraypaint over the surface then sand the surface. Any imperfections like deep scratches etc will show up the color of the spraypaint.
Any tricks for drywal/mud before I prime or am I being rediculous?
Just use a bright light and carefully inspect the area before priming, repeat after the areas have been primed, imperfections will jump out then, repair those minor flaws with MH or similar product, spot prime those areas, then paint
