Is there a way to set my Mp3 files that I've downloaded as my ringtone on my LG chocolate flip phone?

I have transfered some Mp3 files to my LF chocolate flip phone and I'm wondering if there's a way to set them as my ringtone. Also, is there a way to set any audio recorded by the phone as your ringtone?

Actually yes, my husband and I found this out by accident. You can't use music that you put onto you phone though (like from the memory card) What you do is send a song (or clip of a song that you want your ringtone to be) to your phone though your email.

To do this send a text message to your email address and then reply to the email (thats how you get your phones address)

Once you receive the message on your phone open the message and in the options menu it will say something like save sound. Save the sound to your phone and it should save in the 'my sounds' folder. Then all you do is go into the sound and click on options and save as ringtone.

I don't know what carrier you have but we have verizon and this is how we do it. Good Luck!
