Are pistol grip rifles illegal in California?
So what I gather from the laws is that semi automatic centerfire rifles can not have a pistol grip or a forward pistol grip. If this is the law how come I can buy them on ebay or websites and have them shipped to California? The same sites will not ship me folding stock weapons which are illegal in California.
The weapon I am using is a Ruger Mini14 Ranch Rifle with the Tapco tactical stock and forward grip.
Because the people shipping you those items do not know for a certainty that you are going to install them on a working firearm.
