Which technique is the best one to fix a scratch on an Xbox 360 game disc?
There is a ring along the edge of the CD about 1/4 of an inch from the edge. I went to the video store and tried getting it cleaned in their machine but he put it in three times and it still won't work. I've been looking up techniques on YouTube for getting rid of scratches on CDs and these are the best ones that I could find: 1. Rub toothpaste (I've also heard of using turtle wax or metal polisher) on the disc. Wait five minutes. Wash it off. 2. Rub toothpaste and peanut butter on disc. Wash off then rub both on again. Put the disc in a container. pour some Diet Coke and baking soda in. Let it sit for a few minutes. Take it out and buff the peanut butter and toothpaste off. Please let me know which one works the best.
This is what you do go to blockbuster or hollywood video and rent the game you scratched put the scratched disc in the rented case and take it back keep the good one for yourself
