I have a leaky tap. The cartridge o-ring keeps tearing.?

The cartridge o-ring keeps tearing because the water supply pipe it butts up against has a nick in it. What I really need to know is if the tube can be replaced. It has a hexagon inside it that makes it appear to be removable with an allen wrench. Any ideas? The alternative is to replace the whole unit and I am not into ripping walls apart.
I found what I was looking for. It was the 'seat' that was worn out, I removed it with an allen key and replaced it in seconds. I don't get any points for answering my own question , though. Damn.

If it was me I would replace the faucet. they have become proficient in planned obsolescence.
