EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP MY HAMSTERS TOOTH FELL OUT LAST NIGHT.?
OKAY SO MY HAMSTER WAS CHEWING ON HIS CAGE AND HE DOESNT HAVE MUCH TEETH MOST OF THEM ARE ROTTEN THEY WERE LIKE THIS WHEN i got him. so he was chewing on his cage and he got his tooth stuck. he was making crazy sounds. i managed to get it unstuck, but then he did it again and it got stuck on his ddoor and he was stasnding thereand he was hanging to i opened it very carefully and pet him and tried to help him but i couldnt so he started going mad and moving a nd growling and shaking shaking shaking shaking and then his tooth came off and the cage was onthe edge of a high dresser so he fell and he was bleeding rapidly so i wiped some of the blood off and it sounded like he was either crying or sneezing and he hasnt stopped since last nite and he wont eat or drink and barley run in his wheel,,,,hes very active i have no vet,no money please help i dont want him to die but will he be okay please pray he means the world to me.
You should not have bought him when you saw his teeth like that because this means he was not healthy. I would let him rest and give him treats. Since you can`t go to the vet I don't know what to tell you besides he is in extreme pain. When hamsters are in extreme pain you can hear them cry aloud. You should have put him in a bin with not bars or something like his ball or anything to stop him because you saw he get stuck This was a poor decision but we are not perfect and you did`t know. Hamsters have 16 teeth so now he has 15 but you can only see four now 3 I assume. Make the temperature mild like 70 degrees and take him out of cage and put him in something where he is secure and put blankets. He needs to be extremely comfortable so this will do. Mash up food very tiny so it will be easy. Give smashed bananas or apples even strawberries. Do not put a paper towel roll in a tub either you want them on the blanket. His hide home is ok but that is it besides water and food. Pet him softly and cover him with blanket as well. I hope he recovers but there isn't much hope because he was sick or something was wrong when you bought him.
